forgot to take the trash out
a party I threw a couple of moons ago
caught up with it again this morning
smelling like a dead whale
it was hiding behind the bin

well inside again
I remembered a few people
I was supposed to call
or people I´ve forgotten
to remember
to forget

I guess it´s Christmas
all over again

what to get mr and mrs x
or what not to give mr and mrs y
I wonder why
I wonder what´s the point
take one look in my eyes
I really don´t
need anything from them

the halo over my head
growing as the day gets closer
I even notice it myself
these days are to be lived
these days I´ll take with me
the day I die
get my drift?
