an endless cold(Arnold Melleby, 12.04.2016)

burned as a child
twice shy growing up
leaving the angels to hurt
feeling their bones
getting crushed

my shoulders carry my spirit
I have embraced the flames
that gave my heart a soul
it all could have ended
in an endless cold

seemingly a non stop cry
waving the wolves goodbye
the woods will never be the same
losing playing the same old game
whatever happened to the honor and trust
we were all born with
did it all turn to dust

you emptied the pockets of many
to gain a few
if you´re in the business of pain
then what else is there to do
karma is clearly not a part of the game

my shoulders carry my spirit
I have embraced the flames
that gave my heart a soul
it all could have ended
in an endless cold

my shoulders carry my spirit
I have embraced the flames
that gave my heart a soul
it all could have ended
in an endless cold
